Okay so this place deserves the low review score just because they fail to cut photos to the right size. You can have 4 photos all different sizes from them. So if you want your photo for Canadian immigration or something with specific dimensions they'll cut it but they will not be accurate causing a rejection. The one good thing about this place is they Photoshop and make your face look perfect. I guess that's the attraction of this place. The desk people are nice but they must be interns due to the messiness of the cutting. Also if you want a stamp on the photo, they will do it and cover it with tape which is inadmissible in Canada as it counts as a sticker on the photo.

This studio made our entire trip. We were walk ins with our rented hanbok and hadn't pre scheduled a professional photo shoot. The staff here was so talented in posing, recommendations, and post shoot editing and really made me and my photo conscious husband feel so at ease even as English speakers. I loved that they gave us 20 minutes to do our hair with straighteners, heated brush curler, hairdryer, and curling mousse and hairspray. They had the option of beige or navy backgrounds and had flowers and bench props for use. Two photos edited and printed were part of the basic package and 20k won additional for add on photos from the shoot. They went above and beyond for us who did not have an appointment and would 100% book them again on our next Seoul trip.

My sister and I had so much fun taking photos at this studio! The process was really easy and the staff were super inviting and friendly. They offered a lot of guidance and help with the entire process and were even able to explain things to us in English. It was overall a great experience and the perfect permanent memory. We opted to buy all digital prints and additional physical copies just because the photos came out so so well. They even had a designated area to fix your hair and makeup + an area to select the photos you wish to print. We’ll be receiving all digital and physical copies within the same day (just less than two hours)!! I’ll have to bring my boyfriend here in the future ^^

great experience! Staff was helpful and nice and we loved our overall time here. They provide clear instructions and it is a self studio so you can take it at your pace and be comfortable. They also had a variety of props and seating that you can arrange yourself to fit your liking. I went with my friends and the pictures turned out great. Great photo shoot experience. Went with a group of 6, and loved it so much we scheduled a second day of shoots for more solo shots. Their touch ups and edits were phenomenal!

Greg helped plan our proposal at Nami island and it was a wonderful experience! Greg was professional and thorough through the planning phase and he really went above and beyond on the day to make the proposal a success. Greg was the best. He took our input and did his best. He had a ton of ideas and listened to our ideas as well. He wasn’t hard to spot, one of the tallest Canadians I have met. He worked hard on the best photos made and he even Hooked us up with some great food places after our session.

Greg helped plan me and my fiancée's surprise engagement and I could not have asked for a better result. When I asked if we could do a video as well, Greg was more than happy to make the adjustments needed.

He was able to find us a wonderful photographer, Nicky Nonis, to take the photos and videos on the day of and they were both super friendly yet professional. My fiancée and I will always be grateful to Greg and Nicky for leaving us a collection of photos and a video that truly reflect our special moment.

Not only is Greg a phenomenal photographer, but is also an artist at his core. His ability to convey my desired vision went above and beyond what i expected. His use of lighting and and the frameworks within chosen spaces made my experience truly memorable. I recently had the pleasure of working with Greg for a proposal in Seoul and I must say, they went above and beyond!

Firstly, booking a photoshoot in Korea is a once in a lifetime experience. The scenary/background is absolutely special.

Secondly, Dylan makes it immensely pleasent.
I had reached out to Dylan 5-6 months before our photoshoot and he was diligent in replying the whole way. He recommended clothes for me to wear and planned the itinerary for our shoot. He was especially helpful when I couldn't make up my mind on the locations! What I really appreciated was that Dylan constantly kept us updated on the weather on the day of our shoot. He was more on top of it than we were!

During the shoot, Dylan was thoughtful and accomodating. It was a cold afternoon shoot and we stopped by 7/11 to grab a quick warm drink (which he recommended), he carried our jackets during the shoot and rushed it back to us after the shoot to make sure we were warm. He was mindful where to put our bags/jackets/mobile phones etc.

We had so much fun that we ended up grabbing some food and had a cheeky drink with Dylan after.

Lastly, the photos we recieved were breathtaking. Dylan got back to us in about 3 weeks with the most beautiful photos which we will hang in our house and use for our upcoming wedding. Definitely worth every penny.

So again, if you're thinking about booking. Stop thinking and make a booking!

Dylan is an incredibly talented artist who works magic with color and light, but he also does incredible work putting his subjects at ease. We did a two hour shoot with Dylan in Seoul to celebrate our engagement and at no point did I feel uncomfortable or awkward while posing for photos, even though I hate being photographed!
We were only visiting the city, so his expansive knowledge of Seoul was instrumental in getting the kinds of backdrops we were interested in for our photographs. He went above and beyond scouting locations before we began and overdelivered on the final product. He is affable and capable, I can't recommend Dylan highly enough.

Good development results, great scanning resolution, film store full of surprises and a cosy, creative atmosphere. Come and check!

This lab has a fabulous selection of film including some that are exclusive to this lab. They easily had the widest variety of film that I’ve found in Seoul. They scanned 15 sheets of negatives and even included a slight bulk discount and a few free goodies. The all around vibe is really cool too, I’ve been to many labs in Melbourne and this is the biggest one I’ve ever seen.

Bought two film rolls from here, 36exp 200 iso kodak colorplus.

They have Imacon film scanner you can use by the hour.

Went to visit this place today and it was a wonderful experience!
The owner was such a kind man he spoke really good English with me and made sure I felt comfy. He came over and chatted with me and introduced me to his cat there !
I sat with the cat (her name Julie or julee as Lee is his families name ) .
I sat drinking a lovely ice vanilla latte with his cat as she slept .
The atmosphere was really lovely I could spend hours there .
The cafe doubled up as a photographer studio , so it was intresting to see .
He had many drinks to offer , be it coffee, tea or alcohol.
The cafe is located quite a walk from the nearest station but the walk isn't too bad as you can go through areas as a tourist you would not usually see .
At the end I asked if I could have some cup holders (for idols birthdays in Korea they often have bday events and cup holders are something cafes give out ) he shot up and asked how many I wanted . Before I could respond he picked up and entire stack probably with 30 of them (bare in mind every cafe you go to they only give u one per drink some even have a money limit u need to buy to get one ) and said I can take as many as I want. He then whipped around and gave me a huge handful of photocards as well , he told me to give them out to my friends .
I was shocked at his kindness .
He wished me farewell and asked if I could come again sometime. He was such a kind man with a lovely cafe and cat .
I highly recommend this place ! Although I would also like to cheekily keep it my secret.
The walk is worth it for sure :)

Had my picture taken for visa here. Hated my photo and they didn’t even check with me before printing. I told them my eyes were skewed. They were reluctant to fix it. I would’ve paid more for a better picture if only they had told me so in the first place. And I thought all studios in Korea were supposed to be super good at photoshopping your pictures. Other places would provide better services for the same price. Try hongdae. Now I’m stuck with the stupid picture for the next five years. Thanks a lot.

I'm quite satisfied with my photo!

My girlfriend and I made a booking for 6pm but we arrived around 6:30pm and they still helped us take our photos. However, the experience was quite hurried. One of the photographers/editors seemed to hurry through my photoshoot (*maybe because he wanted to get off work). I was quite lucky as another photographer/editor was more patient and even helped me retake photos when I was not satisfied with the first shoot. As I didn't speak any Korean, we took time to communicate via an online translator. The photographer/editor told me that I would receive my photo by email within 1 week and I got it way earlier than that; got it 3 days later. The studio was helpful and also helped me edit my photo when I requested. Overall, I'm happy with the photo and experience.

However, I would subtract a star from my rating due to my girlfriend's experience. After my first photoshoot, the impatient photographer/editor did my girlfriend's photoshoot. Afterwards, he rushed the photo selection and tried to force her to choose a photo (*when she didn't like any of them). At first, I thought maybe it was due to language barriers or miscommunication. But then, the photographer/editor told us that we haven't paid yet and that the studio is closing soon. This is absolutely horrible because it sounded like he is forcing my girlfriend to choose and pay for a photo she doesn't like. So in the end, we only decided to purchase the service for my photo.

Great little foto studio on the 5th floor. We needed fotos for drivers license and ARC. They were flexible enough to see us within 15 minutes and did a very good job in creating 8 quality fotos per person for 20.000 won. We also received the digital version of the fotos. There is a space to do your hair and make up. I Would definitely recommend.

They are good at shooting Korean style CV photos. Their Photoshop skill is very good. And they can speak in some English, you can book and try.

Working with Jeong on my proposal photo and videoshoot was an absolutely amazing experience and far more than we could have wished for! I was traveling to Seoul from overseas, and planning such an important life event was very stressful. After speaking to several photographers and did not feel confident that others would be able to capture what I was wanting to express. Jeong's previous work really impressed me and solidified in my mind that he was the right person for the job. He went through great lengths in order to help plan and tailor an experience unique to us. Jeong truly has a great eye for shots and tasteful in his cinematography. He's very personable, professional, and was able to help us feel at ease in front of the camera. The end result speaks for itself, and are works of art that my fiance and I will treasure for the rest of our lives! It's been so special being able to share these memories with our loved ones and would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone!

Jeong was awesome! Very responsive and also had great recommendations for where to go for photos. The photos turned out beautifully and so vibrant. Jeong also knew how to position and pose you as a couple to capture such a sweet sentiment! We love the experience! Highly recommend him for couple and maternity photography!!!

Jeong Yi is an exceptional photographer with natural talent, who also happens to be an awesome guy. My husband and I hired him when we were in Seoul for our first wedding anniversary. First of all, we had a blast taking pictures in various VERY busy locations (Myeongdong)! The shoot in and of itself was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Add to that Jeong's sweet and patient demeanor and commitment to excellence, and we ended up with amazing photos as a souvenir. We received our photos within a week of taking them and were hard pressed to find any that we DIDN'T like. Jeong was also professional and responsive, even though we we hired him during his busiest time of the year. His photos and reviews speak for themselves - I can't recommend him enough!

My husband and I love South Korea and being an avid photographer myself, I had some expectations when it comes to photography, especially when it comes to our own wedding photographs.

Korea’s wedding photography is focused a lot on studio shoots and as we did not want our photos to turn out like everyone else, we decided to find a Korean local photographer who could do outdoor shoots.

We went with Jeong Yi last November 2017 during the autumn period, because we believed that a local photographer would do a better job in terms of knowing the locations/language/contacts much better than a non-local, and Jeong Yi definitely exceeded expectations.

He was very patient and supportive of our ideas, be it the locations to photograph or the things that we suggested we would like to try. As some of our locations did not really fit well into the itinerary, he proposed better locations which we have not explored ourselves before. And the photos turned out beyond expectations.

We are a “super couple” as he coined us, but we are very grateful that he welcomed it and stayed with us throughout the two full days. We could not have asked for a better photographer and experience that we had, and we are immensely thankful to Jeong Yi for all that he did for us!

We will definitely engage his services when we do go back to Korea with our kids next time for a family shoot! Thank you once again Jeong Yi! ^^
