My portrait session with Calvin relaxing, fun, collaborative, and even healing. I’ve never associated such feelings with having my photo taken before. Calvin has a wonderful ease about him that made the experience enjoyable. His personable demeanour compliments the technical precision and experienced directions he brings to the session. Calvin took many photos that I was thrilled about and that felt like me. I'm really thankful to have had this positive experience :)

Calvin is a talented photographer, my shoot went better then I anticipated. I am over the moon with the shots I got back. This was my first photoshoot which was for real estate and the experience was awesome! Like many others I am also really camera shy but Calvin made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and he even hyped me up too. I really liked that I could see the photos as they were being taken and the versatility of the shots. Calvin always responded promptly to my emails and texts, and he was also very quick to send the proofs and final edits. The photos are top tier and the editing/retouching is so minimal and not overly done. I highly recommend Calvin and will absolutely rebook in the future

Great experience with David Chang photography. He is personable, professional and very talented at his craft. On top of that he is very patient with the many demands and requests of his clients. Pays great attention to detail which is a key element to photography.

I read the reviews and was looking forward to getting LinkedIn headshots done. I went in mid-March 2023 and the experience with David and his assistant were nice enough and they assured me I’d receive the proofs “soon”. Fast forward mid-April 2023 and I had not heard back despite sending numerous emails. I finally called, and to David’s credit he did send me a google drive link of the unedited headshots and let me chose an additional headshot to be edited. It was a nice gesture, and I promptly responded but it is now nearing mid-May 2023 and I still haven’t heard or received anything. This process has been frustrating, especially since I was planning on using the final headshots for applications/LinkedIn and that time is starting to pass. As a person, I hope all is well with David because this seems uncharacteristic with this other reviews, but as a customer I will not be returning for future services.

UPDATE: After I posted the review, David emailed me back, sent me the retouched photos and refunded my payment in full.

UPDATE 2: It’s been a month since David said he’d refund me and I haven’t received the funds backs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

David Chang is a thorough professional. It was brilliant service, convenient online booking, the team responds quick to personalized requirements, the day of the photoshoot, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and I got retouched pictures the same day.
The photoshoot team puts you at ease, ensures you look your best and gives constant feedback on what to do to improve the results.
David Chang also does an amazing job at retouching your pictures without taking away too much from your natural look. I had quite a bad winter hair day but the retouched pictures came out to be perfect.
Worth the investment.

i had booked David for The Actor's headshot package and let me tell you, it was the best experience ever the vibes were incredible and David was with me from the moment i walked in the studio, helped me with choosing wardrobe for each look and through the session gave me great directions and i couldn't be happier with how the proofs came out. after the session we had a small yet very inspirational chat which was the cherry on top for me. Highly recommended

John at Exposures Photography surpassed our expectations to the roof. His mastery of photography and passion in the craft is way impressive, not to mention his great patience in finding best angles for everyone for a great shot. He made everyone feel comfortable that made us easily and genuinely smile for him. I had my second visit in this studio today and I was very satisfied, again.

The guy who took the photos was not the same one from last time, but he was very patient and professional. The quality of the photos was great, the date stamps included the required room for the guarantor's signature so I found that useful.

Came here to get my baby daughter's passport photos done and apparently was one of 8 babies done there that day. The photographer/owner is well versed in the requirement for kid passport photos - highly recommend. They are able to even do newborns.

The service was impressively swift, and the quality of the photos was excellent. The owners of the shop were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the process.

John was very supportive and helful. For my baby photo he held the patience and done a fabulous job. Really appreciate it. Cheers!!!

I’m not a fan of getting my photo taken but I needed a professional headshot. Andrew was recommended by some colleagues and I can see why. He is super chill, gave great direction and made me feel comfortable and confident. 10/10 would recommend.

Andrew was professional from start to finish and compared to other photographers, his prices are very reasonable. I had some headshots done and they came out very well. His turnout around time is clearly stated when he meets with you and he stuck to it.

Dan is an amazing guy to work with! For something that can be very awkward, Dan naturally made me feel incredibly comfortable during the entire shoot and allowed me to really be myself. I think that's the most important piece of being a great photographer as the results will show through.

Speaking of the results, these were easily the best photos I've had of myself! So much so that it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to get final versions of.

Can't say better things about my experience and you can't go wrong with Dan.

We needed headshots for last minute auditions and came across Callback Studios. They were very responsive and fit is in and had amazing proofs and touch ups back to us in our tight timeline. Dan made my teen feel comfortable and captured him amazingly. So grateful for finding this studio we are now working with them on demo reels and a self tape session. Highly recommend!!!

Robert was great to work with when I was getting my professional headshots done. He operates in a cool studio downtown that was easy to get to and his personality was professional and made me feel comfortable. When I received his photos, I was not surprised that they looked great!

At my place of employment we have used Robert for our local photography needs. His service has been amazing, he is very professional, easy to work with, takes amazing pictures and gives great direction. I fully recommend his services!

Robert is great; my pictures came out okay but there were some additional edits that I wanted done (wrinkles etc) that weren’t satisfactory yet I was able to remove them with a free app. If a free app can do it, then a paid Photographer should be able to do it. Or, the photographer should familiarize themselves with the different apps to be able to use them to their advantage.

Fantastic! I just completed my fourth photography session with Robert which have taken place over the last 10 years for me and my children. He is professional in every way, and provides so much in the way of options. He has a huge studio flooded with natural light, all sorts of coloured backdrops, chairs, stools and also makes use of the different environments within the older warehouse-like office building such as the antique freight elevator, brick walls, wooden floors, staircases and even outdoors in the right conditions. He works collaboratively with you to assist in wardrobe choices, posing, expressions, offering advice and also trying out any of your own suggestions. It is convenient to get to and offers free parking in a busy Toronto neighbourhood. The space also offers you great wardrobe racks and a spacious, private and well appointed change room. Also he has great hair and makeup artists which he can book - optional but I wouldn't consider going without, they were amazing. The sessions proceed in a really a dynamic way, with everyone working as a group. When I submitted his photos to the talent agency after the first session I received so much work I had to scale back! His prices are beyond reasonable for the variety of looks, backgrounds and quality of product you receive. Can't say enough really. Thanks Robert, it was another terrific shoot!

My experience with Robert was the best photography experience I have had by far! He offers a variety of different options for any particular look. He is very professional and friendly and ensures you are comfortable prior to the photos being taken. Very reasonable pricing. He is also very clear about timeliness of when photos will be ready and provides them in a very reasonable timeframe. Robert ensures retouching is done diligently to sharpen up the photos while ensuring the person in the photo is natural and looks like you in person / in real life. I will definitely be going back to Robert the next time I need to get my photos taken!

I searched through over 30 different photographers within the Edmonton and Toronto area and Mark was by far the best of them all. His photos have a fun, happy, professional feel. He's wonderful behind the camera and makes you feel genuine and warm. I hired an MUA as well, Taylor was fantastic. Mark and his team will make you feel comfortable and confident to show off your best self.

Mark is an incredible photographer and a really down to earth person on top of that! In an industry where you can feel rushed or processed, Mark really put me at ease with his energy, which made for a fun and relaxed shoot. (He was also completely understanding when I had to reschedule last minute which really helped me out!) The shots I got were so good that I had trouble paring them down to just a select few. He has a very talented eye, but was also totally open to collaboration which helped me feel in control of my photos, and made me feel empowered as an actor.
