We took our 6 year old daughter for her 3rd time to Vancouver Headshots Inc. Where Ian Redd-Owner / Photographer & his Studio Team at Vancouver Headshots did once again an exceptional job. They came to Vancouver Island to their Victoria Studio for this shoot, which was extremely convenient for us living in Victoria. Ian was amazing to say the least with our daughter. He has a gift for working with her where they both have a great time which shows in the finished product. Sarah was incredible doing a few different styles for her hair which came out spectacular. It was a great experience all around. The headshots are amazing. They were better than we could hope for. It really was perfect from start to finish.

I had a positive experience doing my first headshots for my acting portfolio at Vancouver Headshots Photography with Ian Reed and Sarah. During the shoot, Ian gave me directions on posing and facial looks while frequently directing the lighting and background to get the best shots. I had a lot of fun. They were fun and professional and very helpful and I am very pleased with the unedited photos so far.

WOW, WOW, WOW. I have followed Laura-Lee for a couple of years and didn't pull the trigger on booking a photo-shoot until this year when my 11-year old daughter's school photos didn't turn out well. Quite honestly, I am not sure what took me so long. The entire experience was amazing. Laura-Lee has such a positive energy and was really able to bring out my daughter's energy and spirit. My daughter had the time of her life, and it clearly shows in the photos. I received the edited photos back much more quickly than I had expected, and every photo is stunning! Cannot say enough about this experience. We will definitely be back for more soon!

We had the BEST time working with LL and got amazing photos in the process! We did a mini with her and I had no expectations because I knew it was just a quick 15 minutes, but the amount of photos we had to select from, plus the compositions and editing were out of this world! I hate having my photos taken and so does my husband, but LL make it so fun and so painless. I can’t wait to do more sessions in different seasons. Carlos took my headshots recently for a newspaper article. Let me start by saying that I hate getting my pictures taken... Carlos did an amazing (!!!!!) job at keeping me comfortable and natural in front of the camera and it translated through to the pictures, which he retouched expertly and quickly with the rush service option. I did the branding package, so that I could have additional photos to use for website, LinkedIn etc. Sending the rest of my team there for some updated headshots, and would definitely refer my friends and colleagues to Carlos.

I commissioned Laura for a portrait of a woman for a medical-industry print magazine. It had to capture the essence of the subject herself, not as a doctor. No scrubs, no white coat, but rather the human being at the core.

Laura's work bested even my most optimistic hopes. She took a series of shots outdoors that were, in a word, stunning. The hardest part on my end was selecting just one to run in the magazine.

Given the contours of the layout, we ran Laura's photo horizontally, almost full-bleed across a spread. To run at that size, a pic has to be *really* good, as even with retouching sometimes imperfections will be revealed.

Laura's shot was elegantly composed, with beautiful light. It turned out perfectly. The subject was a striking-looking woman, so Laura had good material with which to work, but that will take a photographer only so far. She knocked it out of the park.

This was the first time I'd worked with Laura, and aside from her photography, she's a wonderful person: friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. I can't recommend her more highly.

I had a very specific vision for my photos (e.g. poses, lighting, style), which were intended for my professional website. Laura took the time to listen and understand my vision/ideas through regular email correspondence, Zoom consultation, and additional research. From start to finish, Laura was patient, helpful and reassuring; I always felt comfortable communicating questions and special requests. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the end results.

During the photoshoot, Laura had great posing suggestions, which resulted in flattering and dynamic shots. I do not have any experience posing for professional photos and Laura made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. I also included my dog in some of the photographs and Laura was very accommodating.

The final product was exactly what I wanted; the photos are sleek, creative, and highly professional. I can't stop looking at the photographs!

I also had makeup done by the hair/makeup artist who works with Laura and was very satisfied with the service. All of her brushes and products were clean, neat and organized. I do not wear makeup regularly and she created a natural look that enhanced my existing features. The makeup looked beautiful and not overdone in the black and white photos I requested.

Menno is an artist. I needed a photo of me, holding camera equipment, then superimpose that image onto an industrial background. I thought I brought good ideas to the table. Menno's were much better. His domain included, wardrobe, posture, mood, lighting, framing etc. He's a story teller. I just relaxed, let him work, and got a wonderful end result. VERY pro set up in his Kits home studio. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I had a great time chatting with Menno and was surprised to find some great shots he took of me by the end of session. To say that I am comfortable in front of a camera would be a huge understatement. I walked in being nervous and unsure of what to expect and walked away having made a friend who is so well travelled , interesting and fun to chat with. Menno is one of most fun photography professionals I've ever come across. So accommodating and helpful throughout the shoot. I first contacted Michael about potentially working with him for a completely different event, but during our conversation, he proposed an idea for a photo session in an environment I had not even considered for my professional portfolio. This blew my mind and I ended up working with him on this idea instead.

Michael was very personable, kind and accomodating; he even offered other options for locations, and wore a mask because of the at risk people at the photography location. He was very brave entering the space, being near my cat when he has cat allergies! (Thank you and I really appreciate it!).

He stayed longer than he intended in order to get the right shot, and I am really grateful that he put so much time and thought into it. I got some acting headshots with Brandon this year and it was a great experience.
