Shooting with RP was the most amazing experience. He was very friendly, warm and gave perfect direction during the photo shoot. I recently had professional head shots taken by Tre and he was awesome! He made the experience seamless and easy, especially for someone such as myself who had no experience posing for professional photos. He took a BUNCH of photos (giving me a lot of options) and was really patient. The photos came out GREAT and at a good price point as well. I interfaced with Tanya via email and she was great as well! I had an additional request for the background of the photos that she did not hesitate to fulfill. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend.

I had a great experience with the team. RP did a great job setting me up in multiple poses and all done on a very timely basis. The pictures turned out great and I had a hard time picking. Tanya returned the edited photos quickly with a quality end product.

Might be the most beautiful space for a passport photo place I’ve ever seen. Great light, spacious, high ceilings and so nicely curated.

I was in a rush, en route to another meeting and I had 15 mins to get passport pix. Needed even less here.

Plus, the owner-photographer is a very nice guy.

Had the most lovely experience at ThisPix getting a US passport photo taken; I visited early in the morning right after they opened and was out the door about five minutes later. Very friendly, professional service and top quality, on-spec passport photos for a great price in an easily accessible location. Highly recommend ThisPix.

It's not easy to find good quality service for professional photo in NYC unfortunately. I was happy to visit this place by recommendation of my friend. The service was quick and very professional. Location is very convenient. No check-in required in the building. Don't think twice and bring your business to ThisPix professional photo.
Keep in mind Apple maps still might have incorrect address and business hours. Google page is always correct and up to date.

My experience at ThisPix was one of the most pleasant and stress free visits to a business that I've ever had. I walked in mid-day on a Thursday for US passport photos and was out in less than ten minutes with two very high quality & perfectly sized photos for my application. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I was looking to head over to the UPS store to get a picture taken. But i wanted a better quality than them. I decided to Head Over ThisPix and i was very surprised about the quality. City Headshots did a family shoot for us, and we could not be happier with the results! Martin is such a professional. He went over our options with us and made the entire experience fun and easy. Dorothy does amazing work! She did a headshot photo session for my son who is a child actor and his shots cane out better than I could have ever imagined. I was beyond pleased with them! She was also very kind, attentive, and fast. She got so many amazing shots of him in a matter of minutes. She even went through and sent me her choice of the 5 best shots which was super helpful because there were so many! I would recommend her for anyone desiring some amazing shots!!

Dorothy was awesome to work with and accommodated me in a last-minute request when I had a same day deadline to get photos done. She made time for me, and was even able to arrange hair and makeup for me and meet with me within 45 minutes of when I had initially called her. Images were great and I appreciated how involved I was allowed to be in the retouch process and selection process; it was clear I wouldn’t leave unhappy.

I wanted to get a professional picture before I left New York City, and JW Headshots' portfolio was the style I was looking for. I’m usually shy in front of a camera and meeting new people. JW made everything at ease by having a simple conversation going. I am not good with the use of makeup and got the package to have a makeup artist; it’s worth the extra money. The final picture touch-ups are significant! My eyes get tender red from makeup, and JW cleared it up in Photoshop and a few other touches. Overall a great experience, and I would highly recommend JW Headshots.

I had a photo shoot with Valery and Kim yesterday and it Easy, professional for the start of sending emails to Kassie to schedule up until the shoot. GREAT EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND!!! The line of communication that Michael provided me is what led to my decision to shoot my new headshots with him. He is obviously super talented as can be seen on his website but there are a lot of talented photographers here in NYC so it takes something extra to separate you from the rest of the pack. Through detailed and informative emails I already felt like I knew Michael before the shot. I was 20 minutes late for my session but he made me feel at ease and comfortable, remarking that we would shoot until we got everything we wanted. Jada, Michael’s stylist(who’s fee is included in the overall price) did a great job. She had a knack for making subtle changes that gave me the desired looks which I expressed beforehand. I’m not crazy about shooting pictures and I don’t feel like I’m necessarily good at it. Unlike other photographers I’ve worked with, Michael used exercises that took me out of my head and helped me get to the emotional places that I needed in order to achieve certain looks. He earned my trust in a way that made for a smooth and productive experience. What really impressed me is that Michael is so inexpensive when it comes to edits. He really seems genuinely invested in you having enough material to start with before narrowing things down to your final choice. When it comes down to it, all you really are hoping for is that one great shot. Well with Michael I got five, each one reflective of the different sides of me as an actor. If you’re looking for a photographer with passion, Michael is your guy!

I had the most amazing time shooting with Michael! He was hilarious and had me cracking up all day. Made me very comfortable and enabled us to get the best shots. The location of his studio was perfect to shoot both inside and outside. He is very creative and has a great eye. I plan on working with him and his team again. Not much compares to the full experience you get with Michael's team. The day flew by and the pictures came out perfect, exactly what I was hoping for.

Michael and his team are incredibly creative, attentive and kind. Ana's responses in setting up appointments and payments were clear and quick. I've never felt more comfortable in front of a camera than I had at our session of headshots. I also was fighting a fever that day, but the photos we took look better than I do on my best days! Melinda did a great job touching up my makeup as the shoot progressed to keep me looking healthy. I am beyond enamored with my photos from Michael. From the moment I walked into the studio to the very end of the session Michael made me feel like I knew him and we never even met before. He was able to go on a journey with me doing sense memory exercises to obtain the perfect shot. I had the most amazing experience with David! From the moment we met, he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, which was important for me because I'm usually pretty camera shy. During the shoot, David gave me a bunch of different options and poses and different lighting setups to work with. He was very patient and accommodating with all my requests. It was clear that he really cared about capturing the best possible shots and making sure that I was happy with the results. What really blew me away was how quickly he was able to turn around my photos! I needed the pictures in hurry and David gave me the most amazing photo retouched and ready in less than 24 hrs. David is super responsive and answers every question you have. He is extremely thorough giving you so many options and you get to see every shot to make minor adjustment to get the perfect shoot. Finding the go to person for your custom needs (doctor, barber, etc) is important. David is my go-to for photo shoots. I've tried a few places but I wish I found David first. Read his blog as he gives tons of free information and it will help you prepare for your shoot.

Working with David was outstanding! He challenges the actor to think about your wardrobe choices, reasons for an angle, and challenges you to think about if it works or not. Also, he allows you to explore and feel free during the entire session, which isn't easy to achieve, especially if it's your first time booking with him.
